Who’d of thought that something as simple as PIZZA could be so divisive?! Disney World pizza is SUPER hit or miss. That puffy pizza served at places like PizzeRizzo is, well, not good in our opinion. But, the homemade pizza from Via Napoli is LEGENDARY — we’ve been raving about it for YEARS!

speaking of pizza, we made an exciting discovery inside the Italy pavilion in the EPCOT World Showcase; let’s take a look!
Did you know that you can order some of that famous authentic Italian Via Napoli pizza WITHOUT a dining reservation? Adjacent to Via Napoli is a tiny little pizza window called Pizza al Taglio where guests can order a slice of pizza, cannoli, or a drink! So, what’s the catch? Pizza al Taglio is SUPER unpredictable! It used to open seasonally, but we never really knew when (or how long) it would open.
No need for a reservation here!
During our recent trip to EPCOT, we noticed that the walk-up pizza window was open! Those big old wooden doors were wide open, and the smell of fresh pizza wafted through the air. We were SO happy! Considering the unpredictable track record of Pizza al Taglio, we decided to wait in line to check it out.
We LOVE pizza!
According to a Cast Member, the window will open at 11AM every day, though there is still no official schedule on the Disney World website. We tend to see it open during busier times of the year so we’ll keep our eyes out to see if the pizza window sticks around for the rest of the spring break season!
You can order pepperoni or cheese pizza!
Keep in mind that this window does not serve the full Via Napoli menu. You can order pepperoni and plain cheese pizza, but you’ll need a reservation to try those fancy Proscuitto and melon other Carciofi pizzas.
