BREAKING NEWS: Even More Awesome Menu Options Coming to the Parks This Summer!

WOW! This is going to be THE SUMMER of FOOD across Disney theme parks! Disney has just unveiled a whole host of new menu items coming to both Disneyland and Walt Disney World. We’ve got sweet. We’ve got savory. We’ also got the return of a beloved buffet.

We hope your brought your appetites! Let’s take a look at some of Disney’s new best bites!

Walt Disney World:

MagicKingdom

Zurg Freeze- Aunty Gravity’s Galactic Goodies – Starting tomorrow and available through the end of June is another treat that celebrates Lightyear. Head to this popular Tomorrowland snack spot to try one for yourself!

Garden BBQ

EPCOT

garden grill This popular character dining spot in The Land Pavilion is seeing a couple of new menu additions. this includes Barbecued-roasted Chicken with Sweet and Tangy Barbecue Sauce as well as a Southern-style Spoon Bread.

Sunshine Seasons The quick service eatery on the ground floor of The Pavilion next to Soarin’ also has some new menu items including:

  • Roast beef sandwich – made with chilled roast beef, chimichurri aioli, cheddar, arugula and red onion on a flour-topped kaiser roll with potato chips.
  • Mediterranean vegetable sandwich (plant-based) – features roasted red pepper, red onion, tomato, arugula, hummus and balsamic vinaigrette on herbed foccacia.
  • Spice Fish Taco- with fire-roasted corn salsa, creamy jalapeno piri piri sauce, radish and plantain chips!

Coral Reef Restaurant- The table service eatery in the seas pavilion has recently undergone some menu enhancements. New items to be on the lookout for includes:

  • Trio of Seasonal Dips – with fresh vegetable crudite and crisps.
  • New England Clam Chowder
  • Orange-glazed Sustainable Salmon – served with vegetable stir fry and shiitake sticky rice.
  • Cajun Chicken Pasta Filled with pull Cajun-spiced chicken, parmesan cream sauce, roasted mushrooms, peas, peppers and onions.

Disney Springs:

Picnic Series- Salt & Straw – The latest Disney Springs ice cream spot is serving up some delectable summer flavors as part of their Picnic Series. The menu is inspired by beloved summertime treats including watermelon, fried chicken and cherry pie!

Buzz Lightyear Star Commander Cone Swirls on the Water Celebrate Pixar’s latest film Lightyear with this purple cheesecake soft-serve adorned with chocolate wings and space sprinkles. This is only available through the end of the month so get yours while you can.

Dole Whip Float – Swirls on the Water – This special take on the popular Dole Whip Float features Rosa Regale Sparkling Red Wine, DOLE Whip strawberry and a fresh strawberry slice!

Disney’s Hollywood Studios

Hollywood & Vine – We’ve got some spectacular news. Hollywood & Vine will be welcoming back buffet dining starting on August 28th. Here’s a look at some of the all-you-care-to enjoy delights you’ll find!

Breakfast:

  • Brioche French Toast with Banana Foster Sauce
  • Salmon and bagel casserole
  • Plant based frittata

Lunch & dinnerr:

  • Plant-based Roasted Mushroom Farro Risotte
  • Slow-roasted Crispy Pork Belly with Guava glaze

Mama Melrose’s Ristorante Italiano – This beloved Italian table service location has added some new menu items inspired by classic Italian cuisine. Be on the lookout for the following goodies starting in late June.

  • Fried Fresh Mozzarella – served with marinara sauce, ricotta salata and lemon oil
  • Grilled Bone-In Pork Chop with creamy polenta, roasted tomatoes, mustard vincotto and charred broccolini.
  • Mama’s Italian Pasta
  • Sustainable Fish
  • Mini cannoli trio
  • Colors of Italy Cheesecake
  • Blueberry Frangipane Tart

Old Key West Resort

Oliva’s- We’ve got some exciting news for Brunch fans. Starting on September 1, 2022, Olivia’s brunch service will be available seven days a week! This expanded offering will still feature your favorite classic brunch items with some new additions. Highlights include:

  • Southernmost Buttermilk Fried Chicken
  • Dad’s hash
  • Loaded Key West Bloody Mary
  • Banana Bread Pudding – with Bahamian banana-rum syrup, coconut whipped cream and your choice of bacon, sausage or ham.

Disney’s All Star Resorts

  • Box Office Cupcake- World Premiere Food Court- All-Star Movies– a yellow cupcake filled with caramel and topped with marshmallow buttercream and a peanut-pretzel-popcorn brittle
  • Rock and Roll Cupcake – Intermission Food Court – All Star Music – A yellow cupcake filled with peanut butter buttercream and topped with banana panna cotta and candied bacon.
  • MVP Cupcake- The End Zone – All-Star Sports – Yellow cupcake stuffed with apple pie filling and topped with buttercream baseball and caramel popcorn-peanut crunch.

Disney’s Pop Century Resort

  • Flashback Cream Pie Everything POP!- an oatmeal-raisin cookie sandwich filled with marshmallow creme topped with dark chocolate and cinnamon glaze.
  • Pop Goes Banana Cupcake – Everything POP! – a yellow cupcake filled with carmelized bananas in a pastry creme topped with a caramel-latte buttercream.

Lighting McQueen Gravel Road Sundae

Disney’s Art of Animation Resort

  • Lightning McQueen Gravel Road Sundae Landscapes of Flavor – Featuring vanilla soft-serve ice cream with chocolate cookie crumbs, chocolate sauce and a Lightning McQueen chocolate coin.
  • Big Blue Ocean – The Drop Off – Made of Svedka Vodka, Bacardi Superior Rum, Bols Blue Curaco and Minute Maid Premium Lemonade served with a souvenir glow cube.
  • Seafoam Refresher -The Drop Off- Malibu Coconut Rum, Bois Blue Curacao and pineapple juice and is garnished with pineapple.

Disneyland Resorts:

Disney California Adventure Park

Paradise Garden Grill Some barbecue highlights have been added to the menu including:

  • Kansas City Style BBQ Ribs – Pork ribs with house-made BBQ sauce, pickles and onions
  • North Carolina-Style BBQ Pork Sandwich with creamy coleslaw, crispy jalapenos, pickles and onions
  • St. Louis-style BBQ Rubbed Chicken – a beer-brined, roasted half chicken with pickles and onions
  • Family Picnic Platter – This has a BBQ half chicken, pulled pork, ribs, andouille sausage, poblano mac & cheese, chuck wagon beans, potato salad with bacon, creamy coleslaw, jalapeno-cheddar cornbread, pickles and onions and cherry cheesecake.

Each of these options comes with your choice of sides including:

  • Poblano Mac & Cheese
  • Chuck wagon beans
  • Potato Salad With Bacon
  • Creamy Coleslaw
  • Andouille Sausage
  • Jalapeno Cheddar Cornbread

In addition, Paradise Garden Grill has some new beverages on the menu:

Red Rose Tavern – This popular Disneyland spot will now feature a new Late Night Menu available from 8:30 pm – 11:30 pm daily with new options including:

  • Bonsoir Chili Cheese Poutine – with a hearty plant-based chili, shredded cheese and seasoned waffle fries
  • Classic Poutine – slow-cooked beef, gravy, cheese curds, pickled red onions and waffle fries
  • Firelight Fries – with tangy spiced chicken and pepperoncini ranch sauce on ranch-seasoned waffle fries.

Harbor Galley Be sure to check out noteworthy menu items including:

  • Soup in a Sourdough Bread Bowl with your choice of clam chowder, steak gumbo or plant-based vegetable gumbo
  • Harbor Muffuletta Salad – with cured meats and cheese on mixed lettuce with oliva tapenade, giardiniera, pepperoncini and Italian dressing with slice sourdough.
  • Pelican Punch chilled tropical blend of pineapple, coconut and lime.

Royal Street Porch – Head over to New Orleans Square to try out some new dishes that have been recently added to the menu including:

  • Hoppin’ John IMPOSSIBLE Royal Wrap – Seasoned plant-9 based meat with rice, black-eyed peas, cheddar lettuce and Cajun dressing on a spinach tortilla.
  • Street Steak Salad made up of chilled steak on mixed greens, cherry tomatoes, blue cheese, candied pecans and fried onions with horseradish dressing.
  • Blueberry Fritters Served with blue sugar and lemon curd dipping sauce.
