Disney World is expensive, but it’s not usually $100,000-for-one-vacation expensive. 😳
Here at DFB, we bring you all kinds of tips and budgeting tricks to help you save money on your upcoming Disney trip. We’ve got budget outlines, money-saving hacks, and details about the current deals and discounts. But Disney’s latest experience is not for the frugal-minded — it involves a private jet, around-the-world tour, and a $100,000 price tag. you in?
Adventures by Disney is Disney’s center for world travel that extends beyond the theme parks. You can book guided tours all over the world, including to Japan, Alaska, Europe, and even Antarctica! These tours are essentially all-inclusive, with Disney Cast Member guides, planned experiences, accommodations and meals included, etc.
One of the newest Adventures by Disney experiences is called Disney Parks Around The World – A Private Jet Adventure. And you know that anything with “Disney” and “Private Jet” in the name is going to be awesome, but isn’t going to come cheap.
This tour is limited to “75 ultimate Disney fans” and “spans 24 days and covers 6 countries,” including all 12 Disney theme parks worldwide, “as well as 3 iconic landmarks: the Taj Mahal, Pyramids of Giza, and Eiffel Tower.”
Guests want board a private jet (a VIP-configured Boeing 757) to travel to each location, where they’ll stay in “world-class accommodations,” including the Summit Skywalker Ranch, Disney’s Grand Californian Hotel & Spa, the Tokyo Disneyland Hotel, Disney’s Hotel New York – the Art of Marvel, Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort & Spa, and more.
The tour lasts almost a full month, reaches a total of 9 locations around the worldand includes 68 meals throughout the experience. Guests are required to be at least 12 years old in order to go.
Some of the highlights of the trip include a Lucasfilm Campus Tour, a Junk Boat Cruise in Hong Kong, a Tokyo DisneySea Experience with Walt Disney Imagineering, and a visit to the Pyramids of Giza and the Sphinx. You can check out the full itinerary on the Adventures by Disney website. But before you become too invested in this experience, you may want to double-check that price tag… .
The tour costs $109,995 each, whether adult or child. This is based on double occupancy, meaning most accommodations along the way are for 2 or more people (but each person is still required to pay the full amount). All we can say is WOAH.
If anyone’s got that kind of vacation money just lying around, please invite us on your next trip. We’d be happy to come along on your private jet experience! And can you imagine the Disney World trip you could plan with that kind of money?? We’ve done the math (because of course we have) and it would cost about $28,784 to live at the Grand Floridian Resort for 1 month. That means you could live in Disney World for almost 4 MONTHS for the price of 1 Private Jet experience!
But then you wouldn’t get to see all the Disney Parks around the world, the pyramids of Giza, Tokyo, Hong Kong, and all of those other places where the Adventures by Disney tour goes…but you wouldn’t be too far away from EPCOT, and World Showcase is kind of the same thing, right?
Whether you’re booking your private jet tour now, planning your 4-month stay at Disney World, or (like us) looking up the latest deals for a normal Disney vacation, we’re pretty sure you can’t go wrong! And just in case you are interested in the private jet tour of all the Disney parks around the world (again, please invite us), here are the details about booking:
