Wait Times INCREASING in Disney World Ahead of Summer Season

SO many exciting things are happening at Disney World soon!

Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind is about to open up, EPCOT’s Food and Wine Festival will be here before we know it, and the Barber Shop is finally going to reopen in Magic Kingdom. So, with all this excitement, are the parks getting more crowded? Let’s take a look at the average wait times from this week at Disney World to find out!


Let’s head to Magic Kingdom! this week, Seven Dwarfs Mine Train had the longest average wait time with 63 mins!


After that, we had Jungle Cruise at 61 minutes, Peter Pan’s Flight at 60 minutes, Splash Mountain at 44 minutes, Space Mountain at 40 minutes, Haunted Mansion at 39 minutes Pirates of the Caribbean at 35 minutes, Many Adventures of Winnie the Pooh at 33 minutes Buzz Lightyear’s Space Ranger Spin at 32 minutes other Big Thunder Mountain Railroad at 30 mins.

Next, we had Astro Orbiter at 27 minutes “it’s a small world” at 21 mins, Under the Sea – Journey of the Little Mermaid at 18 minutes Tomorrowland Speedway at 16 mins, Magic Carpets of Aladdin at 15 minutes Mickey’s PhilharMagic at 15 minutes Tomorrowland Transit Authority People Mover at 13 mins.

Then, we saw Dumbo the Flying Elephant at 12 minutes Barnstormer featuring the Great Goofini at 11 mins, mad tea party at 10 mins, other Prince Charming Regal Carrousel at 9 mins.

And rides that only had wait times in the single digits were Carousel of Progress at 4 minutes to Liberty Square Riverboat at 3 minutes Country Bear Jamboree at 1 minute, other Tom Sawyer Island at 1 minute. Rides with no waits were Hall of Presidents, Enchanted Tiki Room, other Swiss Family Robinson Treehouse.

Then we had Frozen Ever After at 64 minutes test track at 53 minutes, Soarin’ at 25 minutes, Mission: SPACE at 14 minutes, Living with the Land at 12 minutes, Spaceship Earth at 11 minutes Journey into Imagination at 11 minutes, Turtle Talk with Crush at 10 minutes Gran Fiesta Tour at 9 minutes other The Seas with Nemo and Friends at 7 mins.

Most of the theater shows in EPCOT had zero waits this past week! These included: awesome planet, Beauty and the Beast Sing-Along, Disney and Pixar Short Film Festival, Impressions de France, other Reflections of China!

Moving on to Hollywood Studios, Tower of Terror had the highest average wait time this week at 97 mins.

After that, we had Rise of the Resistance at 92 mins, Slinky Dog Dash at 81 mins, Rock ‘n’ Roller Coaster featuring Aerosmith at 55 minutes, Toy Story Mania at 55 minutes Mickey and Minnie’s Runaway Railway at 54 minsand Millennium Falcon: Smuggler’s Run at 51 mins.

And finally, we had Alien Swirling Saucers at 35 minutes, Lightning McQueen’s Racing Academy at 17 minutes Star Tours—The Adventures Continue at 15 minutes, Walt Disney Presents at 14 minutes other Muppet*Vision 3D at 10 minutes.


Hopping over to AnimalKingdomthe ride with the longest average wait time this week was Avatar Flight of Passage at 83 mins.

Then we had Na’vi River Journey at 59 minutes Kilimanjaro Safaris at 45 minutes, Kali River Rapids at 31 minutes Expedition Everest at 22 minutes other DINOSAUR at 16 mins.
