What’s New at Disney World’s Hotels: 2 Spots Reopen, a Dumbo Backpack, and…Eggs?

Welcome back DFB friends! We’re here with another what’s new at Disney hotels!

Disney’s Riviera Resort

The resorts are constantly changing, and bringing new ways to make your stay a little bit easier and a little more special. And, because they change so frequently, we visit the resorts all the time to keep you updated! So…here are this past week’s updates!

We found two charms and a new shirt over at the Riviera! There was a Minnie Mouse Mom charm, and a Stitch and Angel charm.

The Minnie Mouse Mom charm features Minnie Mouse hugging a heart that says “Best Mom Ever.” This could make a great mother’s day gift if you’re visiting for the occasion!

The Minnie Mouse Mom Charm

The Stitch charm has Stitch and Angel surrounded by yellow flowers. Behind the Stitch and Angel charm is a heart-shaped charm of the sun setting over the ocean. The Stitch charm can also be found at Caribbean Beach Resort.

We also found a new blue Riviera shirt, displaying the hotel’s logo. This shirt costs $29.99.

Ink and Paint Gift Shop

We all have a favorite Disney ride, and if yours is Dumbo The Flying Elephant, then there’s a new Loungefly bag for you! We’ve spotted it in a few stores around Disney World and now it’s at the Ink and Paint Gift Shop at Disney’s Art of Animation too.

The Dumbo Loungefly

It matches the variations of Dumbo (different colored hats and seats) that we see on the attraction. You can pick it up for $75.

Along with this Loungefly, we also found the Turning Red magnet set. It costs $14.99.

Disney’s Art of Animation Resort General Updates

We saw a ton of Easter fun at the resorts last weekend in celebration of the holiday — Art of Animation included! Here Disney held an Easter Egg competition that featured displays of various Disney characters

…the Disney Skyliner (so creative)

The Little Mermaid

…and Alice in Wonderland!

Disney’s Art of Animation Resort Construction Updates

After a month-long closure, the Cozy Cone Pool has officially reopened! We’re happy to see this open just in time for the hot weather.

Along with the reopening of the Cozy Cone Pool, we also saw the Righteous Reef Playground reopen!
